Fibonacci Bread is set in the heart of an urban metropolis, in the sliver of time between yesterday and tomorrow. A bread maker, spends nights baking spiral-shaped pastries. In the pre-dawn hours he rides his bicycle, distributing them to local homeless people. A topography of his own dreams and memories becomes a map for morning travels through the labyrinth of the city. His journey will eventually lead to an encounter with the city’s secret visitor – a metaphor as large and universal as hunger and bread.
